Our vision is for all animals, especially senior dogs and those with special needs, live the rest of their lives in a loving home. We specialize in end-of-life and medically challenged dogs by offering palliative care and sanctuary.
Tamara Nugent is the passionate founder of Piper's Place, a nonprofit based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, that is dedicated to giving senior dogs and those with significant medical needs a safe, loving place to live out their days. Under her compassionate leadership, the Piper's Place has become a godsend for dogs who are often overlooked, those who are elderly, ill, or disabled.
